How does bread product development work today?
We are mapping the current bread product development process, from receiving a brief through final approval and handover. The aim is to understand how work gets done, where information and decisions are captured, and how much effort and experimentation are required. This will help us to establish a baseline for evaluating the Turing software.

Why we're asking
Quantify the pain points and area of improvements across the stage-gate process - from commercial concept / bet to optimal formulation.
Discovering where and how AI creates value in your development process.
Uncover dependencies across the steps- for example, what must happen to unlock AI-based ingredient recommendations from the library? If time to better and optimal prototype is accelerated, are there any bottlenecks in data collection and reporting? What and how so that the platform can specifically address those.
Identify consensus, misalignment, and how knowledge is used, extracted, reported, and shared. For example, R&D may receive the project brief but does specifically identify what, why, trade-offs, target goals, non-negotiables in terms of customer acceptance etc.
You can answer by thinking about a similar project or estimate how you’d approach this one if you were to do it the traditional way.
